I’m a Headshot Specialist.
My name is Jameel Morrison and I’m a headshot expert based in Atco, NJ. We are sometimes the hardest viewers to please with pictures of ourselves. We can’t see what the camera sees, and our minds tend to fixate on what we are convinced is good, bad, or ugly. My approach is to help you to forget the camera long enough to photograph that happening with a skillful and compassionate eye. Whether we get there quickly or take a bit longer, my goal is always to create an image that best represents you. I’ve designed my entire process to serve that goal.

In the studio,
Studio sessions are by appointment and are limited to two per day. That means no people passing in and out during our time together, no one staring while we work, and no rush because someone booked a session right behind your time slot. Instead, we work at the most comfortable pace for you in a relaxed, private space located within 25 minutes of Cherry Hill, 45 minutes of Philadelphia, Trenton, and Atlantic City, and just over an hour from Princeton and New Brunswick.

Questions
How soon will I get my photographs?
Images are typically delivered within 7-10 business days of payment for your order, usually much sooner. If you need images quickly, same-day retouching is available for an additional $75 per image.
Do I need makeup?
Makeup is not required, but it can enhance your photographs. Most of the people I photograph do not hire a makeup artist.
What should I wear?
Wear clothes that make you feel confident and comfortable. Your clothes should be well-fitted, neat, and clean. The good news is, you don’t have to wear pants.**
**Actually, you may want to wear pants (or shorts, or sweats) if you’re leaving the house, but for our purposes, they won’t feature in your headshots.
Where is your studio located?
The studio is located just off of NJ Rt 73 at 277 White Horse Pike, Suite 100, Atco, NJ 08004. The building is located across the street from Alisha’s Five Star Dive Bar restaurant and Dunkin’ Donuts.
How much will my headshots cost?
Your final cost will be the total of the session fee and any additional images ordered. At the end of our session, we will identify the best images, and you can choose which images you want.
What is meant by retouching?
Retouching includes removal of visible lighting in the frame, contrast and color corrections, flyaway hairs, and removing or minimizing the appearance of non-permanent blemishes or skin conditions. Retouching is done with a light hand to preserve skin texture and to present your face realistically.
Can I have multiple looks?
The Full and Personal Branding Sessions included unlimited looks so we can try whatever outfits you bring.
How long does a session take?
We take as much time as you need to get the images you love. I book no more than two sessions per day, so each client has a relaxed experience. Most sessions last about an hour.
What if I don’t like my photos?
You will be able to view images on a 27-inch monitor as we create them. No surprises. If we don’t like something, we delete, we adjust, we fix, we tweak, and we try again (beautiful oopses and all of that). We also play a bit, and then boil down the good to great. I’m here to rock out with you until you see something you want to run with. You only leave with images we are pleased with. If I’m doing my job well, it should be hard to choose.
